For comparison, the official Marc Jacobs Daisy note structure.
Opening accord of Marc Jacobs Daisy, as composed by Marc Jacobs.
The middle accord that carries the wearer through the day.
The dry-down. Petal follows the same architecture at 22–30% oil concentration vs 10-12% (EDT).
More oil, more scent. Longer wear, stronger projection. Petal sits at the upper end of EDP-grade, overlapping with Extrait.
Designer Eau de Toilette typically contains 5–12% fragrance oil. Designer Eau de Parfum contains 15–20%. Extrait sits at 20–30%. Petal is formulated at 22 to 30 percent oil concentration, the upper end of the EDP range, overlapping with Extrait. Higher oil concentration means longer wear, stronger projection, and a fuller scent profile. Marc Jacobs Daisy at 10-12% (EDT) is more dilute than Petal.
Petal is developed by perfumers who have composed scents for houses you already own. Same training. Same suppliers in Grasse, France. Same note structure as the £72 original, at 22–30% oil concentration (EDP grade). We cut the theatre, not the oil.

Designer brands charge £300 or more for a 100ml bottle. The perfume itself costs three to five pounds to make. The rest is theatre: a campaign, a celebrity, a licensing fee, a retail margin, a bottle heavy enough to feel expensive in the hand.
It is simply how the industry has worked for forty years. What has changed is the assumption that you, the buyer, don’t know.
We started The Fragrance World in the UK to make one without the designer tax. One bottle. Thirty pounds. No apology, no compromise.

This is a lovely light floral fragrance, you definitely get the inspiration from Daisy.
I love branded perfumes but they are now too expensive, these little dupes are so good i cant tell the difference. I bought the samples first, i am certainly going to buy a big bottle of something special.
A 5ml atomiser. Enough for a full week of wear so you can decide on skin, not from a description. Worst case: out £4.95 and a week.
Add 5ml tester · £4.95 →Petal is The Fragrance World's Marc Jacobs Daisy alternative, an Eau de Parfum formulated at 22–30% oil concentration (EDP grade) vs Marc Jacobs Daisy's 10-12% (EDT). £29.95 for 50ml vs £72. We name Marc Jacobs Daisy on this page on purpose.
Petal is not Marc Jacobs Daisy. Marc Jacobs Daisy is a registered trademark of Marc Jacobs; we are not affiliated. We reference it because it is honestly the fragrance our buyers came from. Most of them did not go back.
